Our Pastor
Dr. Geraldine Rush
Dr. Geraldine Rush is the founder and pastor of House of Christ Outreach Ministries Church (HOC), with over 14 years in ministry she has applied her strong leadership and managing skills in developing ministries, training and outreach programs that will grow any church. Prior to establishing the House of Christ, Dr. Rush was the Executive Pastor at Anointed Temple of Praise Outreach Ministries Church located in Memphis, TN for over six years. She handled the day to day operation of the church, managed a staff of eight employees and worked with a department of 12 functioning ministries. Areas of achievements were establishing an Employee Hand Book, a Ministry Volunteer Manuel, New Members orientation, Baptismal and Salvation Classes, Organized and developed the Institute of Leadership Training and a Ordination Programs to Ordain Ministers of the gospel.
From 2005 to 2007, Dr. Rush was an Associate Pastor and from 2003 to 2005 a Financial Analyst and Office Manager in the church. From 2000 until 2003 Dr. Rush donated her time as a Financial Analyst on the finance board and in the payable department while she was attending Jacksonville Theological Seminary. Dr. Rush Holds a Doctorate Degree in Ministry, a Masters Degree in Theology and a Bachelor in Biblical Studies. She was ordained as a minister in 2003, ordained and Licensed as a Pastor in 2005, and also holds an associate degree in Business Administration. Prior to becoming a minister to serve God, Dr. Rush worked 14 years for the FedEx Corporation with seven years as a Credit and Collection Manager. She is married and has two sons, and comes from a family of eleven.
God has brought Dr. Rush a long way and the best is still yet to come.

Recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and desire is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Is to see people live in the love and true discipleship that edifies believers to do all that is possible to glorify Jesus our Savior.
